The SugarHill Sessions Hosts David Bazan on Pacifica's KPFT

(HOUSTON, TEXAS) – October 20th, 2006 – Legendary Houston music recording studio, SugarHill Recording Studios, and the Pacifica Radio Network, launched The SugarHill Sessions radio show in April 2006, on Houston’s Pacifica affiliate station, 90.1FM KPFT as a means to profile independent artists to the Houston listening audience.
The SugarHill Sessions has been quite a success since its’ inception and has hosted indie music artists including Marah (Yep Roc Records), Todd Snider (Universal) and most recently The Long Winters (Barsuk).
This month The SugarHill Sessions hosts songwriter David Bazan (Jade Tree). David Bazan is currently on a U.S. tour promoting his EP, Fewer Moving Parts before returning to Seattle to begin work on his upcoming full-length release. The live recording and interview can be heard in this month’s installment of The SugarHill Sessions with David Bazan, October 27th on KPFT 90.1 FM at 2pm CST.
