NYCSSC TURNS UP THE HEAT THIS WINTER WITH THREE SOCIAL LEAGUES

Registration is open for two nights of Dodgeball and one night of ice Broomball

What: The New York City Social Sports Club ("NYCSSC") will take away the winter blues with two nights of Dodgeball and one night of ice Broomball. Club participants can socialize with other young New Yorkers over a friendly social sports game or post game drinks at hot New York watering holes. Sports options for the Winter 2007 season include one night of Dogeball on the Upper East Side, one night of Dodgeball on the Lower East Side, and one night of ice Broomball in Prospect Park. Also included are post-game bar specials and invitations to various social events throughout the season such as the upcoming Flip Cup Tournament on December 2. NYCSSC provides countless opportunities for New Yorkers to keep warm this winter, meet new friends, and expand social horizons. Participants can either join a team or register a team of their own.

The fee per person for the entire season for Dodgeball and Broomball are $75. NYCSSC provides all fields, equipment, American Apparel tee-shirts, and post-game bar specials. For questions, please e-mail nycssc@nycssc.com or call 646-383-8508.

Registration: Registration is now open for all winter social sports and is available for individuals, small groups, and teams of 10-14. It includes all game equipment, team tee-shirts, and access to all beer specials at NYCSSC sponsor bars.

NYCSSC is in its second year of making New York City a friendlier place to live! A top social sports club in the city, it differentiates itself by offering adult players a relaxed co-ed environment. The league has been featured by numerous members of the media including am New York, Daily Candy, Village Voice, Time Out New York, NY1, BBC, Fuji TV, and Fox 5 News, and was selected by Shecky's Bes of New York 2006 guide. Games are played at various locations including parks and recreational centers in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and sport options include Dodgeball, Broomball, Disc Golf, Floor and Ice Broomball, Touch Football, Ultimate Frisbee, and the occasional Capture the Flag, Flip Cup, and bar Air Hockey Tournaments. Teams are casually competitive, with the greater focus on having fun, unwinding and socializing. In addition to the weekly league, the club also provides all fields, equipment, scheduling, team tee-shirts, team administration, and plans social non-sports-related events. Apart from the social league, the NYCSSC also offers corporate team building clinics and social events throughout the year.
