RealGold – newest technology of refinement with gold, silver and platin suitable for metal objects of any size
Schleswig, 05. March 2010 – The mobile application of electrolysis procedures makes it feasible – as of now metal objects in any size, whether a mobile phone or a luxury car can be refined with 24 carat gold. Due to the new technology also silver, platin and chromium layers on any kind of metal surfaces are possible. It even works on objects made out of aluminium. It doesn´t make any difference whether the subject is big or small, firmly assembled or made out of plenty of individual parts.Unlike the conventional galvanic procedure, where objects get plated with the precious metal in a dipping bath by electrolysis, now the electrode itself becomes the mobile tool in this new procedure. No matter how big the dipping bath may be, objects of any size as well as firmly assembled elements such as car mouldings can be refined. The electrode is flexible like a brush, ensuring the precious metal layer can be coated accurately by handcraft.
Another crucial advantage over the previous method is the quality and strength of the gold layer. Instead of the common 18 carat, now a 24 carat gold edition is possible providing a special high-class optic. The precious metal layer has a 30 my instead of the common 3 my layer thickness and therefore guarantees a maximum quality, durability and service life including extensive cold and heat continuance. The price is calculated on the basis of surface including a guarantee of quality and durability.

Since 2007 the mobile refinement workshop RealGold is located in Schleswig. RealGold is the only vendor in Northern Germany offering a novel refinement procedure. In comparison to the conventional galvanic technique using a dipping bath, any kind of objects no matter what size or shape can be gilded by electrolysis procedure applying the electrode as a mobile tool. All metal surfaces are adequate for the refinement, including aluminium. The objects obtain a precious metal plating consisting out of gold, silver, platin or get chromed. In comparison to the common procedure, the amount of carat as well as diameter of the precious metal plating is essentially higher and guarantees highest quality and durability.
