Intakt-Reisen uses IBE technology from ASNM
Berlin, 4 March 2010 – Intakt Internet Services GmbH & Co. KG, a provider of online services with a product lineup ranging from travel and tourism to hospitality, today announced the collaboration with ASNM New Media AG, a provider of online travel booking technology. The objective of the cooperation is to meet the technical requirements of Intakt Internet Services as the new owner of flyGREEN (www.flygreen.de ), a provider for search and booking of flights.
Dr. Toralf Kahlert, CEO of Intakt Internet Services, explains: “ASNM has successfully been providing the technical platform for flyGREEN. It is important to us that we can rely on a technology that can be adapted for future requirements.”
Michael Schwarz, CEO of ASNM New Media AG, adds: “We are delighted to further support flyGREEN and provide our know-how and technology for online booking of flights that include a compensation of the resulting CO2 emission.“
The integrated IBE technology was implemented and started on flygreen.de on 01 March 2010. Next step will be the development of the international web site flygreen.eu to expand in the European market.
