Inaugural ASPIN event raises $15,000 to support Security Professionals In Need

San Antonio, TX - September 6, 2018 - ASPIN is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of security industry professionals affected by man-made or natural disasters, illness, accidents, or death; announced it’s inaugural donation to a Firetrol employee undergoing open-heart surgery this month.

ASPIN President and Founder, Troy Douglas, along with Firetrol Austin’s General Manager, Donnie Rogers, and Integrated Security Manager, John Rogers accept the inaugural donation on behalf of the anonymous Firetrol employee.

Troy Douglas said, “ The security industry is a community that is called to serve. Through the generosity of security professionals and companies that donated during the Inaugural Saltwater Fishing Tournament, we will be able to help several people. ASPIN's goal is to help those who have experienced hardship get back to normal life as quickly as possible. ASPIN is grateful for the opportunity to serve Security Professionals in Need."

The financial contribution is a result of the 2018 ASPIN Saltwater Fishing Tournament which raised $15,721.00 in July 2018. The next ASPIN event is the 2018 Veterans Day Golf Tournament at the Atascocita Golf Club in Atascocita, TX.
