New headquarters of MAGE SOLAR GMBH in Ravensburg

The company is moving to new premises in Ravensburg

Aulendorf, March 4, 2010 – MAGE SOLAR GMBH, part of the globally operating MAGE GROUP, today announced that it is moving its headquarters to new premises in Ravensburg. From March 8, 2010, the company will conduct its business from a new location in the “An der Bleicherei” industrial estate. MAGE SOLAR's strong growth has made it necessary to move to new and larger premises.

Due to its proximity to the B30 motorway, Ravensburg provides the company with ideal transport links. The move will triple the office space for administration alone to over 2,000 square meters. As well as offices and conference rooms, MAGE SOLAR‘s new training center will also be here. The complete delivery of all products will be controlled by the company’s adjoining logistics center which is also being moved into. The recently built warehouse in Aulendorf will still be included in the logistical planning as an off-site warehouse.

“In order to continue the high level of our services in future, we have chosen Ravensburg as our new location,” explains Norbert Philipp, CEO of MAGE SOLAR GMBH. “The new headquarters meets our increased requirements for a good infrastructure, attractive rooms and professional logistics in every respect. At the same time it provides all of the conditions for further growth.”

MAGE SOLAR has grown enormously in the past year. In Germany the full-service provider of solar energy systems has seen a steady rise in its number of orders. In particular its global expansion has resulted in an increased requirement with regard to personnel and space. The number of employees has risen in the last six months alone from 70 to over 100 at present, while turnover has more than doubled from EUR 54 million in 2008 to over EUR 120 million in 2009.
