VisualOn IBC2018 Highlights:

Enhancement for Low Latency - The VisualOn Player leverages low latency technologies for the best user experience in all major streaming formats. Low latency is supported for DASH/HLS on iOS, Android and HTML5 (Safari/Chrome) for fMP4 and Transport Stream. During IBC2018, VisualOn will show live stream playback with a latency of under 3 seconds in real-world conditions.

CMAF (Common Media Application Format) - VisualOn supports CMAF on all platforms. CMAF is compatible with major streaming protocols, such as HLS and DASH. In Q3, VisualOn will add support for PlayReady 4.0 with AES128 CBCS decryption, which enables using one encryption (AES128 CBCs) for all CENC DRMS (Widevine, PlayReady and FairPlay).

Fast Channel Switching - VisualOn enables TV-like instant channel zapping for a great user experience. VisualOn preloads several live streams to ensure fast switching while keeping CPU resource consumption low. Viewers can swap to previous or next live content channel seamlessly.

Video Quality Improvement - VisualOn introduces video post-processing to improve perceived image quality independently of the stream encoding format. VisualOn can significantly enhance the viewing experience in daylight or for scenes with low lighting.
