Jennings Principal Paige Zinn Appointed to UNC Board of Visitors

The University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill has named Jennings Principal, Paige Zinn, to the UNC Board of Visitors. Zinn is one of 54 select alumni and friends appointed to the 2018 class of new members by the Board of Trustees.

Board of Visitors members act as ambassadors of UNC-Chapel Hill, informing their communities about on-going work and issues important to the University and, in turn, sharing community feedback with University administration. Board of Visitors members assist the Board of Trustees and Chancellor Carol L. Folt in activities that help to advance the University, including student recruitment, government relations, marketing, and fundraising. Members also serve as a resource for students seeking professional advice and guidance before entering the workforce.

The Board of Visitors is made up of roughly 175 members who serve four-year terms. Each year, as members rotate off, the Board of Trustees elects a new class of members.

Zinn was selected in 2013 as one of 60 people around the world to participate in the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO)’s Entrepreneurial Masters Program at MIT. She is also a past winner of Triangle Business Journal’s “40 Under 40″ and “Women in Business” awards. Zinn has served as a past Chairperson of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, a past Chair of the Morehead Planetarium’s Jupiter Ball Committee, and currently serves on the Board for EO, the Chapel Hill-Chamber of Commerce, Club Nova, and is Vice-Chair of the Orange County Economic Development Advisory Board.

During her 22-year career at Jennings, Zinn has served in various leadership capacities, including client strategy, new business development, and firm management. In 2012, Zinn and co-principal Dan Dunlop assumed ownership of Jennings from the firm’s previous owners and decided to focus solely on the healthcare industry. In the years since, Jennings has added more than 25 hospitals to its client roster, in addition to American Board of Medical Specialties member boards, hospital associations, patient engagement technologies, population health initiatives, and more.
Zinn is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
