BRIDGEVIEW, ILLINOIS, August 27, 2018 – Norman Filter Company (NFC), a manufacturer of high-end Aerospace and Defense filtrations, proudly announces that they have been certified under AS9100D with ISO 9001:2015 as of August 6, 2018. Norman Filters previously earned certification under AS9100C with ISO 9001:2008 in 2015 and has been audited and registered by the NSF-ISR since October 2006.
The AS9100 standard supplements the ISO 9001 requirements with conditions needed for work with the United States Department of Defense (DOD), NASA, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). AS9100 certification, which is recognized internationally as the Quality Management System standard for manufacturers and suppliers to the aviation, space, and defense industries. Achieving the AS9100D certification proves that Norman Filters’ quality processes and continuous improvement methodologies meet the high industry standards.
