Memorysolution becomes European distributor for new single-packaged AENEON DRAM modules
With immediate effect, Memorysolution GmbH assumes the European distribution of “retail-ready“ packaged modules produced by Qimonda, one of the top suppliers of DRAM products for the PC and Server markets worldwide.Breisach am Rhein / Germany, October 12, 2006 – Memorysolution GmbH today announces that it has added the distribution of the new single-packaged AENEON™ memory modules to European markets to their DRAM portfolio. That means state-of-the-art original memory modules come in smart boxes. The modules are delivered in a high-quality, factory-sealed convenient user-friendly packaging for easy presentation in the shop. The packaging materials (cardboard, PVC and Polystyrene) fully comply with EU disposal regulations “Grüner Punkt” and “CE”. For ease of retail and logistics processes supported by scanner systems, the packaging carries an EAN number and barcode on the rear side.
The complete packaging process is carried out and fully controlled by the manufacturer, Qimonda. Every single module makes its way out of manufacturing straight into its individual packaging. This packaging consists of an antistatic polystyrene box, which itself is enclosed in a cardboard carrier sealed with a sticker. The sticker prevents unauthorized access or manipulation of the content. Another advantage of this new packaging is the easy and convenient professional presentation at the POS: the cardboard carrier sports a Euro-hanger, thus making it easy to add it to these widely spread goods shelves. An ensured return procedure minimizes the risk for retailer or traders, who will receive new parts for defectives.
The advantages are not only with the dealer, also will customers benefit from the new product packaging. Well visible for the consumer, the packaging carries a product specification and explanation of the package content in eight European languages. Combined with a PVC window film on the front this makes identification of the right product much easier than ever before. A warranty policy leaflet for end-customers and a user-friendly installation guide in the same eight languages are enclosed in each package.
All those features ensure that the customer is getting a brand-new fully tested original AENEON™ memory module straight out the factory. Altogether, the new packaging fulfils customers’ ever-increasing demand for a professional presentation and a safe and convenient shopping experience in a perfect manner.
