FlexiSAF Launches E-learning Platform for Nigerian Primary & Secondary Schools

08-24-2018 09:33 AM CET | Science & Education

Press release from: FlexiSAF Edusoft Ltd

Nigerian Education technology Key player, FlexiSAF Edusoft recently launched a new e-learning platform for schools.

The platform SAF-Learn was developed in response to the huge lack of adequate digital teaching resources, based on indigenous curriculum content.

E-learning in Nigeria is a fast growing market, which still faces a number of major challenges. For the most part, available digital learning solutions are either too pricey, filled with irrelevant ‘foreign’ content or simply too difficult to deploy because they required internet connectivity or access to personal devices.

Although there are over 90 million internet users in Nigeria, main stream internet connectivity is still a challenge in most places, due to overly expensive data tariff prices and poor connectivity.

FlexiSAF’s solution is designed to meet the needs of the Nigerian learners; providing them with engaging lessons and preparing them for the digital world of tomorrow all while sidestepping these major challenges.

The SAFLearn platform provides engaging multimedia teaching content for all primary & secondary classes, based on the Nigerian NERDC (Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council) Curriculum. The platform is available online or deployed offline on a local server provided to the school.

SAF Learn the latest in the growing range of the edtech company’s products which include highly popular school information management system; SAFSMS, online application solution and distinction.ng, a free exam practice platform for secondary school students.

“Personalised learning is the future” says Faiz, FlexiSAF CEO “and we are passionate about providing access to that opportunity at the most affordable costs here for Nigerians.”

FlexiSAF is a Nigerian based Educational Technology company focused on impacting the Educational landscape with quality and effective IT Solutions that fit the unique needs of the region.
