Press release from: Sundial Group

Innovative team building solutions offered by Sundial Group at its four residential conference venues, now form part of a nationally accredited development programme, quality-assured and certified by ASET.

Northampton, UK – Sundial Group, one of the UK’s leading operators of residential conference and training venues, announces that Teamscapes®, the innovative team building solutions offered by Sundial Group at its four residential conference venues, now form part of a nationally accredited development programme, quality-assured and certified by ASET.

Participants earn nationally recognised award

Teamscapes® is a series of 15 indoor and outdoor activities designed to challenge the brain, rather than the body. Each focusing on a different set of core business skills, they simulate everyday situations, allowing companies to home in on particular areas for development. Adding to the appeal of Teamscapes® is that they can either be self-facilitated by a group at short notice, or run by an external trainer as part of a consultancy programme - and now can earn participants a nationally recognised award.

ASET is a National Awarding body which licenses centres to offer ASET-approved Awards and National Awards. ASET is recognised and regulated by QCA, ACCAC and CCEA to provide ASET Qualifications for the National Qualifications Framework. Successful completion of a Teamscapes® programme, comprising two activities and debriefing sessions, will result in a Level 2 Award when assessed by an accredited Teamscapes® facilitator. This exciting development makes Teamscapes® an even more valuable learning tool.

Often imitated but never equalled, Teamscapes® is unique to Sundial Group in the United Kingdom, featuring at its venues in Bath, Surrey, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Sundial Group's membership of IACC (International Association of Conference Centres) has led to an Australian firm licensing the activities for its five Melbourne locations, while there has also been interest from South Africa and North America.

Sundial Group is hosting four open mornings throughout September, October and November to introduce the series to guests and deliver further information about the new accreditation, also giving people an opportunity to become Accredited Teamscapes® Facilitators. They will also be exhibiting at the CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition in Harrogate taking place 24-26 October.

Sundial Group owns and operates four residential conference and training venues, all of which meet the exacting standards required for membership of IACC (International Association of Conference Centres) and CCE (Conference Centres of Excellence). Located in Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Surrey and Bath, they create a dedicated learning environment for companies, public sector organisations, associations and charities to host conferences, meetings and training events.

Bailbrook House is the Group's Bath location, a splendid eighteenth century estate just two miles outside the City Centre. In Surrey, the Group occupies Barnett Hill: a Queen Anne-style mansion in the Surrey Hills just outside Guildford. Highgate House (former family home of the Chudleys, who own and manage Sundial Group) is the company's Northamptonshire base in the picturesque village of Creaton. Woodside, just outside Kenilworth, is an elegant Edwardian country house and is the site of the company's Warwickshire operation.
