Polystar to deliver LTE/4G Signalling Monitoring to TeliaSonera

Stockholm, Sweden, January 11, 2010 – Polystar OSIX, a leading supplier of OSS/BSS solutions, today announced that TeliaSonera Norway/Netcom will expand their network monitoring system with LTE/4G technology.

Polystar will deploy its pioneering LTE network monitoring solution to support Netcom managing their first-ever launched 4G commercial services. With the monitoring system in place, Netcom will be able to proactively manage the services, which require high transmission speed and capacity, thereby addressing the exploding demand of mobile broadband in the Nordic countries.

“Polystar will deliver network-wide monitoring of the LTE/4G traffic at Netcom in Norway. “Netcom has chosen Polystar to deliver an extension of the existing network monitoring system to cover the LTE part of the network.
