MessageBroadcast launches automated Medicare survey system for NebDoctors of Nevada.
MessageBroadcast announced today that NebDoctors of Nevada, provider of Nebulizers (pediatric respiratory products), has chosen MessageBroadcast’s automated survey solution to satisfy Medicare accreditation and compliance requirements. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently issued new quality standards to prevent fraud and promote quality care for Medicare recipients. The new Federal law that went into effect on October 1, 2009, requires suppliers of durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies (DMEPOS) to periodically survey their patients to ensure quality service. In order to qualify for Medicare reimbursement, providers must receive accreditation from a recognized CMS authority such as CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program) or JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations).

Surveys are delivered via telephone allowing patients to respond simply by touch tone. The survey also allows the patient to record their comments suggestion and feedback about NebMed’s products and services. These responses are reported back to NebDoctors in real-time along with a digital voice copy of all voice messages.
