Elesa standard industrial components at PPMA Exhibition 2018

Elesa standard industrial components at PPMA Exhibition 2018

The extensive Elesa range of standard machine elements is designed around the needs of the process and packaging industries. Much of this range will be on display at the 2018 PPMA Exhibition, taking place on 25th – 27th September at NEC Birmingham.

Featured on the Elesa stand - E02 - will be their IP65-7 direct drive digital position indicators with electronic mechanism for easy set up and readout on all forms of processing and packaging equipment from slicers to conveyors and bottling to cosmetics filling machinery.

These are coupled with the Elesa wireless spindle positioning system which enables faster and more reliable machine set up by use of a wireless connected profile controller, which displays the initial set up values on each of up to 36 electronic position indicators. The operator can simply choose the appropriate menu then quickly re-set each spindle to its correct start position and the machine is “good to go”. This saves time and takes out much of the possibility of human error.

The Elesa hygienic levelling feet (EHEDG certified) for use in bio-hazard areas such as food processing or other hygiene sensitive areas, feature mounting holes which provide rugged adjustable equipment mounting and facilitate reduced cleaning work – which can be up to 25% of the production time. Thus leaving more time available for production, with less use of resources such as fresh water, energy and cleaning agents, also with less waste water to process, and so lower total costs.

A wide range of industrial levelling feet complement the needs of equipment manufacturers, many are in stainless steel for heavy duty application and special designs with vibration damping pads to prolong equipment life or for use on conveyor systems.

The Elesa IP67 CFSW safety switch and hinge unit also on display facilitates safe operation of access panels and control equipment.

Elesa angled handles inclined to make things easier for many industries
The new Elesa range of angled bridge handles provide a safe and ergonomic grip close to the edge of a door, ensuring safe and easy operation. Traditionally, bridge handles are used on sliding doors, access panels, drawers, and cases. The angled feature distances and translates forces at a more aligned angle, so reducing the perceived effort involved in closing sliding doors or lifting equipment. Elesa ESP, MSP and GN 430 angled
