Boinx Mouseposé 2.5: Highlight the Action

09-27-2006 02:00 PM CET | IT, New Media & Software

Press release from: Boinx Software

Munich, Germany - Sept. 27th, 2006. With the visualisation of keystrokes, Boinx Mouseposé 2.5, the essential tool for presenters and trainers, adds the final touch to the perfect demo. Now the audience can not only follow the mouse and its actions but also see the keys pressed during the presentation. This allows them to better understand what they see on stage.

Keystroke Visualisation

When the presenter presses a key on the keyboard, Boinx Mouseposé now shows the keys pressed in an elegant overlay. This is especially useful in stage presentations or trainings when a certain function can only be invoked by keyboard shortcut or with the so called modifier keys pressed while clicking with the mouse.

Take a guided Tour

To get a demo of Mouseposé 2.5, simply download the current version at http://boinx.com/mousepose and run the Built-in Talkthrough. Using Apple speech technology and AppleScript, the program explains itself and the function of the various settings to the user. If you like what you see, purchasing is also built into the application conveniently. Until a license key is installed, Mouseposé 2 works for 5 minutes for evaluation purposes at each programm start.

Availablity and Pricing

Boinx Mouseposé 2.5 is available for download immediately as an Universal Application from the website http://boinx.com/mousepose. The update is free to owners of a valid Mouseposé 2 license. New licenses can be purchased directly from within the application or through Kagi for US $14.95.

Introductory Price until Nov. 15th, 2006

Mouseposé 2.5 is available until Nov. 15th, 2006 for the introductory price of just US $9.95.

About Mouseposé

Mouseposé is an essential tool for everyone doing presentations, trainings or demos and those individuals with huge and high resolution displays. If turned on, it dims the screen and puts a spotlight on the area around the mouse pointer, easily guiding the audiences attention to an area of interest and helping to quickly locate the mouse pointer. Ryan J. Bonell wrote for MacZealots.com: "Mouseposé is the poster child for Macintosh shareware. Mouseposé not only fills a niche, but it does exactly what it intends to without any unnecessary clutter."
