“Road safety is no accident”, the theme for earlier World Health Day, reminds us that road safety does not happen by chance. Achieving and sustaining safety on the roads requires deliberate action from many sectors of society.

By and large the onus lies on the shoulders of all of us to make sure that the overpowering bulk of traffic runs smoothly and we abide by the “Traffic Laws” to make driving a pleasure.
