Drive One 4 UR School Event raises more than $7,000 for Marion Technical Institute
Drive One for UR school Event, Ford of Ocala's unique initiative in collaboration with Ford Motor Company to support community schools, has been a tremendous success in Marion Technical Institute which has raised over $7,000 to fund their programs. Ford of Ocala, the premier Ford car dealer in Ocala near Leesburg, Gainesville congratulates the participants who took part in the program to help raise the much-needed fund for the participating school.Designed to help community schools, participants in the "Drive One 4 UR School" program test-drove a new Ford vehicle to help raise fund for their local high school. For each test-drive taken at the event, Ford and Ford of Ocala donated $20 (up to a total of $6,000) to fund special projects and activities at the designated school. However in the final tally, with the additional incentives provided by Ford of Ocala, Marion Technical Institute received over $7,000 to fund their programs.
Ford of Ocala which has a wide range of new Ford models and used cars in its inventory is convinced that the money that has been raised will be highly useful to fund special projects and activities at Marion Technical Institute. The Ford car dealer is also happy that the program also gave the participants from nearby areas like Ocala, Leesburg, and Gainesville an opportunity to experience the Ford vehicles firsthand.
