In his welcome video featured on HEAL Global Institute’s web site, Dr. Satcher states, “H.E.A.L. Global’s mission and intervention strategy of utilizing technology to link people to a lifestyle of wellness through health promotion and prevention is consistent with our Institute goals and with Healthy People 2010 which I played a lead role in developing.” Further, as Surgeon General, I was committed to educating and heightening the awareness of the American people about the state of health in this country—physical, mental, and sexual.
