ABOUT THE AUTHOUR:
Caroline Stern was born on November 15th, 1979 in Plauen, Germany. Even during her school days, she dreamed of financing her life by writing. So, Stern studied German and English philology as well as media studies at the University of Marburg. As a reporter and translator she worked in Hamburg, London, Paris and Namibia. Today, Stern lives in Berlin as a journalist and author. Reviews, articles and reportages by her appeared e. g. at the German Magazin “Stern”, in one of Germany’s biggest newspapers “Welt” and on literaturkritik.de. Her debut novel “Das Leben des Max Schmidt: Neuanfang” (Translation: “The Life of Max Schmidt: New Beginning”; only available in German language) came out in January 2018 through the ISBN 978-3-746-03773-8. Caroline Stern published this book under the pseudonym Max - it became a bestseller after only three weeks. Stern also published a poem book in June 2018, ISBN 978-3-752-80683-0: “Kein So · nett: Die frühen Gedichte“ (The Early Poems, only availabe in German language).
