Medicaltourism - From ONMEDIX to planetMEDIX

Stuttgart, 12.15.2009 - Medical Tourism Portal ONMEDIX is growing up. The new name planetMEDIX is adressing customers around the world.

After one year of live testing, the medical tourism portal ONMEDIX leaves the beta stage, by getting its final name "planetMEDIX". This web portal has achieved a lot during this year. Many interesing Functions have been added and extensively tested under real live conditions. The platform was presented on multiple international fairs and customers invited to test.

"We didn’t want to charge a user fee during this time," says managing director of planetMEDIX Julius Ehret. "The goal was to integrate the clients worldwide in the development process in order to arrive at the best possible result. The clinics could use during this time, the whole range of features for free."

The name planetMEDIX expresses the possibility that users can search worldwide for medical service providers. The language system makes it possible, that the relevant information of clinics or medicals listed in this directory is automatically availabel in eight different languages. A clinic in the US can threfore easily adress Arabian, Spanish or Chinese customer in their own mother tongue without translating their own webpage in all those languages.

planetMEDIX is a multilingual Internet portal for the International Health and Medical Tourism. Providers of medical services, such as medicals, clinics or health resorts, may introduce themselves and their services on this platform to customers worldwide in his of her native language.
