Pai Solebille forays into mobile phone retail space via Obil Mobiles

Pai Solebille, an IT consultancy company has decided to expand the operations of Obil Mobiles. Obil Mobiles, a retailer of mobile phones and accessories is privately funded by Pai Solebille.

Cambridge, 14th December 2009 - Pai Solebille founded in 2006 at Cambridge operates in the IT Consultancy and social media sector. Most of the clients of Pai Solebille are from the telecoms domain.

Pai Solebille’s extensive expertise in the social media sector has benefitted Obil Mobiles. The site has its own support centre on Twitter, one of the few to provide this facility. This helps customers engage better with the site.

Founder Roshan Pai Ramesh outlining the strategy said: “In a recession customers look out for bargains, spending more time actively comparing prices of products. They want quality products at a cut price. Obil Mobiles satisfies this specific need by providing mobile phones a lot cheaper than most other retailers. It’s a win-win situation. “

“Low pricing and great customer service is key to business strategy. In the low and mid range segment we strive hard to keep our prices at least 30% cheaper than most other stores. The margins per sale are smaller, but higher volumes make up for that. We also actively engage with customers via social media tools like Twitter and Facebook. We want to take white labelling to the next level.”

The next step for Obil Mobiles is to expand its operations in the mobile broadband and business mobile phones sector. Work is already underway to incorporate these onto the site.
