HAGEN INVENT takes home another international award

EIBTM awards the prize for „Best Special Event“ to the Düsseldorf event marketing agency

This year’s “Best Special Event“ worldwide comes from Duesseldorf. This accolade was bestowed on HAGEN INVENT by an international jury of top-class experts for the agency’s outstanding performance in connection with the „Leben läuft!“ project, carried out on behalf of the client HDI-Gerling Insurance. The experts for live communication began creating the concept for this project in 2006 and carried it out with great success for three consecutive years. This was the second time since 2007 that the experts from HAGEN INVENT brought this coveted international award – in the highest possible category – back to Duesseldorf’s Medienhafen.

Last Wednesday in Barcelona at EIBTM, the leading trade show in the world for event marketing and live communication: HAGEN INVENT General Manager Adone Kheirallah accepted the award in front of an audience consisting of the „Who’s who“ of the international event marketing branch. „We’re delighted that such a complex and sophisticated project, covering almost all communication disciplines, is the recipient of this award. The „Leben läuft!“ project is spectacular proof that we have an excellent command of the entire range of live communication instruments.“ In particular, the jury commended the perfect implementation of the project, the highly creative concept, and the well-balanced combination of information, emotion, action and motivation that developed gradually throughout the duration of this long-term project, to the lasting benefit of all involved. With this project, HAGEN INVENT also played a vital role in the process of employee integration and increased identification with the newly-formed company. And due to the resulting sponsorships and media cooperation, HDI-Gerling itself is enjoying the benefit of much sympathetic publicity.

During the „Leben läuft!“ project, HAGEN INVENT focused on preparing HDI-Gerling employees to run in the Cologne Marathon: get fit for the marathon, get fit and motivated to reach the new corporate objectives. At the beginning of last October, over 300 athletes from HDI-Gerling once more took part in the Cologne Marathon, cheered on by around 3000 fans – colleagues and family members – seated in the company’s own stands.
