Successful CT Turn-Key Project in the Gulf Region
Final tests before Hand-Over of 16-slice CT Scanner
What makes it so special: This system was a CT scanner previously used in a neurological practise in Germany.
After professional refurbishment and intensive revision at the Medicopex refurbishment facility near Nuernberg, Germany, this 16-slice scanner was crated into boxes and forwarded to the Persian Gulf.
Meanwhile the new facility, its electrical installations and the new shielding were prepared according to Medicopex' plans and the local MoH tests were passed.
After a three-week sea shipment the heavy CT Gantry (weight: 2 tons) and its subsystems were rigged into the new site. The installation process was completed within three days only and followed by a 2-day application training for the local staff.
When looking at the perfect image-quality the site owner was very satisfied with his 16-slice CT Scanner and the entire turn-key project performed by the Medicopex-Team.
