Cambridge International Launches Blog: Conveying Conversations
Cambridge, Md., November 23, 2009 – Cambridge International, Inc. announces it has launched a new blog, Conveying Conversations. The blog is intended to provide useful information and news for the company’s customers and industry colleagues, with a special focus on conveyor systems’ operating efficiencies and product sanitation.According to Rebecca Eismann, marketing communications manager for Cambridge, the Conveying Conversations blog will feature weekly posts focusing on improving belt operations, as well as a variety of other topics including sanitation issues on the processing line and how to best to minimize contamination. “As the industry’s oldest and largest provider of metal belt and wire cloth products, we have a tremendous amount of expertise here at Cambridge when it comes to these topics. The blog is a new way to provide information to our customers, as well as to engage in a worthwhile dialogue,” she said, adding that each post will allow for reader comments and feedback.
The Conveying Conversations blog posts are written by a group of Cambridge employees – each author focusing on areas of his or her particular expertise. In addition, the blog authors would be pleased to address particular topics or questions of interest that are posed by readers.
Tracy Tyler, vice president of sales and marketing, stated that the new Conveying Conversations blog aligns with Cambridge International’s commitment to educating and caring for its customers. “We take pride in creating ‘customers for life,’” Tyler said. “We take a highly personalized approach to get to know our customers and understand what unique problems they have. Our knowledge and expertise allows us to customize a solution by choosing from the largest product line in the industry – or by creating something new!”
Tyler cited a number of blog post topics that illustrate this “customer-centric” focus, such as how Cambridge’s belt engineers and sales personnel work together to make sure customers attain the best possible belt performance, or how certain products such as a self-cleaning hollow roll can deliver improved sanitation and preserve food safety.
In addition to covering information and educational topics, Eismann reported that the Conveying Conversations blog will also highlight the “softer side” of Cambridge International, reporting activities like its Habitat for Humanity project build team as well as spotlighting select Cambridge employees who are active volunteers in the community.
The Conveying Conversations blog is housed on the Cambridge International web site.
