Local Healthcare Services Company Expands With Grant

Through assistance from the Entech Innovation Center, a non-for-profit organization that assists local emerging businesses, Synergy Healthcare Resources LLC has obtained a grant for up to $100,000 in commercialized assistance. The Terre Haute Innovation Alliance and its partners: Indiana State University (ISU), Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (RHIT), the Terra Haute Economic Development Corporation, and the City of Terre Haute, offered this grant, October 26, 2009. Synergy’s new presence in Terre Haute, Indiana, will not only provide business and IT support for area physicians, but will create jobs for students and the people of Terre Haute.

Synergy Healthcare Resources LLC, situated in Entech Innovation Center’s state-of-the-art facility, is an industry leader on the business side of healthcare; their products and services are designed to improve the operational and financial performance of physician-run medical practices. Receipt of this grant will allow SHR to extend their presence and market reach within the State; thereby, strengthening their corporate position. “We are truly excited for Synergy, says Charlie McGill, Executive Director of the Entech Innovation Center stated. “This new business development initiative fits well with SHR’s strategic plans and will help the company meet its growth objectives. It’s a win-win for all parties involved.”

Entech’s support has made Synergy gain a hold on a new market while in conjunction with one of the most innovative economic developers in Terre Haute. The partnership will create an opportunity for Synergy to provide their state-of-the-art IT, and consulting services on a larger scale.
