Pseudomonas is a group of gram-negative, rod-shaped bacteria, commonly found in soil, plants, groundwater, and animals. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a common bacterium belonging to the Pseudomonas family. This bacterium is found on the surface of plants and animals.
