New Logo Symbolizes Refreshed Clinical Programs
Ambrosia has spent the last 10 years working with the young adult population in Florida. The link between longer stays in treatment and higher success rates upon discharge is clear. Ambrosia’s new 6-month program gives clients extra time to dig into difficult issues and underlying mental health conditions that haven’t been addressed in shorter treatment settings. The long-term program offers a trauma-certified therapist and is ideal for those under 30 years old who face chronic relapse.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) has been added to our Florida program to improve client success, especially for those with prior treatment history. Used frequently with recurring depression, MBCT teaches clients how to break away from the negative thought patterns that cause the downward spiral to relapse. It’s an alternative layer of clinical treatment that goes beyond most other facilities.
The new 19,000 square-foot building on their New Jersey campus allows Ambrosia to serve an additional 350 people per year. The resource comes as the opioid epidemic continues to rage throughout the Northeast.
