Fintech – Key to Financial Inclusion in Nigeria
As Nigeria evolves from traditional to modern-day banking, it is imperative to evolve the existing digital channels to keep up with changing consumer needs and patterns.
In an initiative to add value to the banking sector, UMS Conference announces the 2018 edition of the New Age Banking Summit in Nigeria. The Summit, endorsed by the Central Bank of Nigeria, is scheduled for 26-27 September in Lagos.
Digital banking leaders from key banks across Nigeria will be joining the summit to discuss the trending technologies for the industry such as Blockchain, Next-Generation Payments, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Cyber Security, and much more.
Speakers for the summit include Richard Amafonye, CIO, Wema Bank; Onajite Regha, CEO & Executive Secretary, E-Payment Providers Association of Nigeria; Aaron Mosugu, COO, SunTrust Bank Nigeria Ltd; Temitope Akin-Fadeyi, Head - Financial Inclusion Secretariat,Central Bank of Nigeria; Dele Adeyinka, CDO & Chairman, Wema Bank & CEBIH and Emeka Eboegbune,CIO/ Group Head - IT, First City Monument Bank among others.
The summit will also feature New Age Banking Awards. These awards are aimed at honouring the organisations that have consistently demonstrated exemplary performance. They will not just recognise the endeavours of the most successful financial organisations, but will also set a benchmark, inspiring other organisations to attain their own goals.
