Cooperation of congatec and PLG - PLG AG is a new Solution Partner for congatec AG

As a result of the newly founded development cooperation with the congatec AG, PLG AG will offer customer specific solutions based on congatec Embedded Computer Modules effective immediately. This provides the customer with the ideal combination of the PLG's life cycle management and congatec's flexible XTX module concept.

With PLG AG, congatec has found a partner with extensive experience as OEM manufacturer. PLG provides development, production, logistics and after-sales support in the IT sector. For the last 10 years leading manufacturers and distributors have put their faith in the competence and reliability of PLG and its employees.

PLG takes care of its customers throughout the whole product life cycle. This care starts with the idea and implementation to series-production readiness and continues during production, installation and honoring warranties. Spare parts availability and proper product disposal at the end of the product life cycle is also ensured.

To minimize development time and costs, PLG relies on congatec's innovative technologies. The use of XTX modules guarantees exchangeability and scalability of the solutions. XTX based solutions include state-of-the-art interfaces such as PCI Express, Serial ATA and High Definition Audio. In combination with the Intel Core Duo processors, high performance and low power consuming solutions can be developed. Using the integrated battery management possibilities of congatec Embedded CPU Modules, mobile and battery operated applications can be implemented quickly and at a low cost. Utilizing the Embedded Panel Interface (EPI), all flat panel displays can be adapted with less development effort. Even when CPU modules or displays are exchanged, EPI ensures that no adjustments have to be made.

This close collaboration between PLG and congatec will result in an extensive exchange of know-how between the two companies and will not only provide full service but also a clear edge in the market and thus direct business success for their customers.

The customer comes up with the idea and PLG develops the complete solution. Life cycle management already starts with the first consultation and is continued throughout the whole development process (including system integration, certification, component sourcing and product release).
