Zimmer Group wins renowned design label award

This year, Zimmer Group was distinguished with the iF DESIGN AWARD 2018 four times over. The coveted hallmark of excellence for outstanding industrial design was given to the GPP5000 pneumatic parallel gripper, the GPD5000IL hybrid centric gripper, the GED5000 electric centric gripper and the GEP2000 electric parallel gripper.
In its commentary, the panel praised the sustainable approach of the award-winning products, which feature low consumption of resources in production and operation. Furthermore, their clear design vocabulary and functional structure thanks to a formal and colorful design were emphasized as imbuing positive utility value.
