Joachim Plesser appointed member of the Supervisory Board at DIC Group

62-year old Joachim Plesser has become a member of the Supervisory Board of DIC Beteiligungs AG, the managing company of Deutsche Immobilien Chancen AG & Co. KGaA. Mr Plesser was a member of the Executive Board of Eurohypo until the end of September 2009.

In 1968, Mr Plesser started his banking career at Deutsche Bank AG in Düsseldorf, Germany in the private and professional banking departments. In 1986, he became CEO of Deutsche Kreditbank für Baufinanzierung AG, Cologne, Germany, a subsidiary wholly owned by Deutsche Bank AG. In 1989, he was appointed Head of the Central Construction Financing and Real Estate department at Deutsche Bank AG Frankfurt, Germany. At the end of 1990, he became CEO of Deutsche Centralbodenkredit AG, Cologne, Germany. After Deutsche Centralbodenkredit AG merged with the Frankfurt-based Hypothekenbank AG, Plesser was appointed CEO of the 'old' Eurohypo, which was part of Deutsche Bank AG. He was a member of the management board of the 'new' Eurohypo, a subsidiary of Commerzbank AG, from 2002 until the end of September 2009, where he was responsible for the Germany-related business transactions of Europe's largest real estate financing company.

Due to his distinctive real estate expertise, his profound experience and ample contacts, Joachim Plesser is one of the best-known and best-reputed managers in the German real estate sector. With his decision to join the Supervisory Board of DIC to actively support the Group in its future development, the company has acquired one of the most experienced financing and real estate experts.
