Global meeting in the WMS database - Team warehouse logistics welcomes its first Italian participant

Team warehouse logistics was founded in February 2000 by the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics and IPL Consultants b.v. with the objective of bringing together WMS vendors and WMS users who fit together perfectly. The online portal warehouse-logistics.com offers all vendors of Warehouse Management Systems the opportunity to present themselves and their product on a neutral platform.

warehouse-logistics.com is the largest portal of its kind worldwide and it is an international platform with members from the USA, the Netherlands, England, India, Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, and France. The excellent reputation of the portal has now reached Italy.

“We are overjoyed to be able to welcome our first Italian participants”, asserts Oliver Wolf, Director of Warehouse Logistics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, “and, of course, we also hope to be able to convince more Italian vendors to make use of our services.”

WMS users can visit the vendor-neutral platform warehouse-logistics.com to learn about the Warehouse Management Systems offered by the participating vendors for free and they can also take advantage of professional consulting tools and services as required. “It was very important to us that our portal presents a neutral view of companies and products because as an independent institution we do not sell advertising space, instead we provide information“, emphasized Wolf.

The Italian participant @logistics Reply S.r.l. presents its WMS Click Reply™. The Concern was founded in Turin in 1996. Its services range from conception to implementation of logistics processes.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics (IML) advises companies in all industries and sizes in all matters relating to the issue of logistics.
As a consultant to assist in developing new tasks and requirements, as researchers, they, together with its customers new solutions, as planners realize they will help in optimizing the internal and external logistics and develop solutions to software and hardware. The Fraunhofer IML relies on company-specific customized solutions and support for its customers from planning to implementation.
The Department Intralogistics and - IT Planning at the Fraunhofer IML sees its core competence in the material planning, inventory planning and optimization of order picking and shipping systems. The focus is on consulting, planning, design and implementation of logistics vision. A comprehensive project management is one matter of course to offer. The department qualified through extensive knowledge and years of experience.
