Press release from: Mall Communications Ltd

YORK: Mall Communications has just completed the install of a ground-breaking interactive digital signage system at the York Designer Outlet that combines wayfinding to guide shoppers to where they want to get to with high definition digital advertising for tenants and local and national brands.

Developed by our innovative team specifically for shopping centres, MallVision replaces traditional static map boards and paper-based advertising and messaging with a single advanced solution that can be remotely updated in seconds – no disruption, noise or mess.

The McArthurGlen project comprises 10 double-sided totems with user-friendly 48 inch wayfinder touch-screens on one side and 48 inch full HD advertising screens on the reverse. Much more than a digital store directory MallVision builds community by serving as a nexus for the diverse world that makes a retail space tick. By creating a platform that links centre owners, tenants and shoppers together, MallVision helps our community prosper and thrive.

Crucially, with its ability to support a mix of centre communications, and tenant and local/national promotions, the system drives customer traffic, leading to increased sales.

Mall Communications completed its first major MallVision installation in the UK at the prestigious Bentall Centre, Kingston upon Thames, in September 2016 bringing the number of centres in which MallVision is now operational to more than 30 Europe-wide.

ABOUT MALL COMMUNICATIONS:

The experienced, innovative team at Mall Communications has led the evolution of signage through from paper, to slick, instant and relevant digital networks. This transition positions mall owners for greater revenue generation and community cultivation, meets the needs of shoppers for relevant and accurate information, and meets the needs of the demanding national and local advertisers as they seek to make a demonstrable brand presence in a respective market.
