Girbau to demonstrate laundry efficiency in Texcare 2012

In this year’s Texcare trade fair, to be held in Frankfurt from the 5th to 9th of May, at Stand No. 8.0 E40/E50, Girbau will demonstrate the latest advances introduced in their equipment, with special emphasis on the quest for savings and energy efficiency in the laundry.

Girbau’s commercial division will present the PB/PBP wall-type strap ironers on an international level. This is an ironer which incorporates the best of 20 years’ experience in the market of the renowned PS/PSP ironer, with the incorporation of new improvements designed to increase the efficiency and quality of the ironing.

Girbau will also launch the new ED series of Ecodryers (from 13kg to 33kg capacity), which incorporate the latest technology in order to achieve lower energy consumption and increase performance of one of the most costly processes in laundering.
The Transflow system, Heat Capture technology, Speed Control, or the Care Touch Drum, are some of the features that make the ED a range of energy efficient dryers.
The new range of Ecodryers and Series 6 washing machines will be in operation on the stand so that visitors can see their features and how easy they are to program.

In the case of high production ironing, Girbau is presenting the new Compact, a flatwork ironing system that makes it possible to feed, iron, dry, fold and stack while taking up very little room in the laundry.

On the other hand, Girbau’s industrial division will present the Ecotunnel, which will allow a saving of up to 80% in water consumption and 70% in energy costs. In addition, fair goers will also have the opportunity of seeing a complete flatwork ironing system made up of the new DR-1 feeder, the PC-120 flatwork ironer, an FL-King folder and an AP-Vol stacker.

During the fair there will be various demonstrations at the Girbau stand.
These will include training sessions for the new BMT (Batch Washer Management Tool), a new control and data acquisition program for the TBS-50 washing system that improves the overall management of the batch washer, press and dryer system.
Visitors will also be able to see the FT-MAXI towel folder in operation, as well as the Suction Loading System for the ST-1300 dryer, which allows up to 60 kg of linen to be loaded easily and ergonomically.

According to Jordi Bosch, the Girbau Group’s international sales director, participation in Texcare “will demonstrate Girbau’s contribution to making laundries more efficient, cost-effective and sustainable. We have improved the performance of our machinery to minimise consumption and provide a better management of laundries".
