In the first quarter of 2011, Nature Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has undergone massive upgradation of its IT Infrastructure. Crucial changes are brought in the areas of Servers, Internal Network, Internet Connectivity, Remote Accessibility and Network Security.
Speaking at an occasion, Mr. Asim Chandra, VP-Operations said that “Nature Technologies Pvt. To ensure uninterrupted and reliable development cycle, Nature has replaced its old server fleet with new state of the art Intel Xeon Servers. In its Server farm, Nature Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has also hosted couple of dedicated test servers for critical projects funded by the clients.
To ensure state of the art network Nature Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has upgraded its internal network to CISCO Gigabit (10/100/1000) Network. It’s now an end to end Gigabit Network with CISCO Switches, CISCO VPN Router, CISCO Wireless Routers and CAT 6 cabling. As a result the internal network is quite fast now and collaborative application development experience is seamless.
Another significant improvement is the Internet Connectivity. Nature Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has upgraded from DSL based internet connectivity to Fiber Optic Based Internet Leased Line (ILL). Nature has taken the leased line from Tata Communications, the most trusted internet service provider of the country. It ensures steady upload and download speed with 99.95% uptime. Especially Fiber Optic based last mile connectivity with the ISP Gateway ensures tremendous scalability and reliability.

To de-risk the internal network, the public servers have been placed in the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) and are behind the 1st level of hardware firewall. The entire internal network is protected by Kaspersky Enterprise Security.
