UK SPORTS BRAND COMBAT DOLLIES REVEALS PANNIE KIANZAD TO STAR IN THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER 28

UK sports brand Combat Dollies has revealed that one of its main sponsored athletes Pannie Kianzad will be starring in the ‘Heavy Hitters’ season of The Ultimate Fighter due to air on the 29th of August 2018.

Pannie Kianzad who is a MMA (mixed martial arts) Invicta fighting champion as well as a Cage Warriors Banntomweight Champion has been locked away in Las Vegas for the last six weeks training and fighting for the 28th season of the world wide TV show.

The show which sees the best fighters from around the world live and train together, all of which leads to tournament styles fights, with the ultimate winner being given a multi-million dollar UFC deal.

Gemma Ruegg, CEO of Combat Dollies says "Pannie Kianzad is one of the best fighters in the world at the moment and she is only getting better and better. Not only that but she has been through tough times and got through them and it is that determination that I think will take her to the top of UFC."

But how did Combat Dollies, a Bournemouth sports brand that makes fitness clothing especially for women, come to have Pannie Kianzad as sponsored athlete and ambassador?

Well, Kianzad's last professional fight was against Kerry Hughes, who is also sponsored by Combat Dollies and wore their clothing during the fight.

Kianzad has always said that despite being regularly sent stuff from sponsors, it is hard to find good quality fitness clothing, this lead to her manager contacting Gemma, from there the discussion of sponsorship came up.

Gemma understood Pannie's problem saying: "As a fighter myself I know what clothing works and what clothing doesn't work when your training or competing. I've been there, I have tried to find good quality female clothing that I could train and fight in and I couldn't. It's one of the reasons I started Combat Dollies."

Pannie Kianzad is currently training in fight in Last Vegas for the The Ultimate Fighter – Season 28.
