Safeco® Insurance and Greater Cincinnati Agents Donate $25,000 to help Shriners Hospital

Cincinnati, OH – December 4, 2009 — Greater Cincinnati Safeco® Insurance agents are donating $25,000 to Shriners Hospitals for Children — Cincinnati.
The grants, part of a fall campaign Safeco sponsored to support the work of more than 70 independent agents in Greater Cincinnati, will enable the Cincinnati hospital to continue providing top notch pediatric burn care to children from more than 22 states and many foreign countries.
"We are so grateful to Safeco for their generosity. The agents have worked tirelessly and demonstrated tremendous leadership in support of Shriners Hospitals for Children. Our continued partnership will have a positive impact on our patients and their families for years to come," said Ronald R. Hitzler, hospital administrator, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Cincinnati.
Safeco encourages its local agent partners to be active contributors to the communities they serve. The Agent Giving Program recognizes outstanding local insurance agents and their community commitments.
