CEBIT 2018: Snom presents a number of innovations at the Business Festival

Berlin, 31 May 2018 – Snom, the IP telephony specialist from Berlin, will be presenting numerous functional and design innovations at the first CEBIT expo (hall 13, stand C84) to be held in its new format and on its new date. Alongside the product highlights, the Berlin premium brand will also be giving information about its new partner programme and the new “Snom as a Service” rental model, which provisions a cost-saving alternative to both buying or leasing telephones.
The new series of elegant white telephones, predestined for the most stylish of locations, will surely turn a few heads this year. Models D785, D7, D735 and D715 form a complete range from basic to high-end phones, with the D785 forming part of the company’s next generation of equipment. With a stylish design, comes a large high-resolution colour display, along with a practical second display for dynamic contact management and integrated Bluetooth functionality. This telephone we believe, has it all.

The D735 IP telephone with sensor is pure magic ! … simply moving your hand closer to the phone activates the menu function on its 11cm (4.3”) TFT colour display. When idle, the screen displays user-defined images and information such as company logo, time, identity etc. The Snom D735 is part of the new generation of VoIP telephones for businesses that need quick access to their most important data (e.g.: caller lists with name and company affiliation).

Also showcased will be the new flagship of the 3xx series – the D385 sporting a large, bright colour display. Just like its brother from the 7-series, the D385 is one of Snom’s newest and technically most advanced telephones. Thanks to its integrated second screen, frequently used functions can be accessed quickly and easily. The display allows for up to 24 shortcut keys to be programmed – for easier access to caller groups, speed dial or other functions – all information is clearly presented in a concise and vibrant manner. Again the second screen provisions dynamic contact management and an integrated Bluetooth compatibility. All in all, we believe we have crafted a telephone fit for even the most discerning of user !

The A230 DECT dongle, on the other hand, is the perfect accompaniment to every Snom table top telephone. This USB dongle can be linked to the C52 hands-free unit with ease, making difficult and expensive conference calls a thing of the past. The connection is established via DECT, meaning the telephone and the hands-free unit can be positioned independently of each other – ideal in cases where a conference call is convened spontaneously around a table in an office. The A320 is the perfect solution for areas where installing an extra extension line via a conference telephone would prove challenging or expensive.
With an indoor range of up to 50m (164’), the A170 USB DECT headset offers both flexibility and mobility. The device can be used both at the PC and with a Snom telephone.
