As inventor of the long splitting system for converting foam blocks with lengths of up to 120 m into paper thin foils, Bäumer already delivered the first looper in 1957. In the last 50 years, the technology of this installation has been continuously improved. More than 250 machines of this type have been sold all over the world, even 12 machines in 2010 alone.
