ScripNet Announces Contract with Texas State Office of Risk Management
ScripNet wins state contract renewal based on quality of service and cost containment measures.LAS VEGAS, NV – September 22, 2009 ScripNet today announced that it finalized a contract with the State Office of Risk Management (SORM) to provide pharmacy benefit management services (PBM) for the Texas Government Employees’ Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program, covering approximately 175,000 full-time equivalent state employees. The contract has an initial term of four years.
ScripNet’s PBM service will include: pharmacy claims processing for both retail and mail order delivery, formulary management, prospective, concurrent and retrospective drug utilization reviews, a generic substitution program, a first fill program, and universal helpdesk support. ScripNet has a directly-contracted pharmacy network with 3,468 pharmacies in Texas and over 63,000 pharmacies nationwide, supported by a customizable Point of Sale (POS) system.

In addition to SORM, ScripNet provides PBM services some of the largest workers’ compensation payors in Texas.
