Philips spotlights new breakthrough digital imaging and healthcare informatics solutions at ECR 2018

Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Vienna, Austria – Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in health technology, is showcasing its latest digital imaging, advanced planning, visualization and quantification software tools, and services at the 2018 European Congress of Radiology (ECR) from February 28 through March 4, 2018, in Vienna, Austria (booth #402).



MRI exams up to 50% faster

For the first time, Philips will demonstrate the Ingenia Elition [1], it’s new 3.0T MR solution. Combining the latest innovations in systems, software and services, Philips has developed its smartest and most patient-friendly MR platform ever, offering breakthroughs in speed, image quality and patient experience. Featuring Philips’ new Compressed SENSE acceleration technology [2], the Ingenia Elition helps clinicians perform MRI exams up to 50% faster [3], with no compromise in image quality.



Newly designed user interfaces, new patient sensing technologies, and Philips’ SmartExam AI-driven analytics for automatic planning, scanning and processing of exams enhance the entire workflow from image acquisition to reading preferences. To further improve the patient experience, Philips has integrated its Ambient Experience in-bore Connect solution – an immersive audio-visual experience to calm patients and guide them through MR exams.



The Elition is part of the all-new Ingenia digital MR portfolio further strengthening Philips’ new range of integrated radiology solutions. It supports radiology departments to enhance productivity to address the increasing demand for care, while delivering on the Quadruple Aim of improving the patient and staff satisfaction and delivering better value-based care through improved patient outcomes at lower costs.

· IQon Elite Spectral CT – debuted at RSNA 2017, the IQon Elite Spectral CT offers a suite of features that enhance the clinical benefits of the IQon platform to improve diagnostic confidence, while also enhancing the patient experience within emergency care and oncology;
