Carl Jones Joins Lentech, Inc. as Senior Director and Strategic Advisor to Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Programs Team
Lentech announces Carl Jones as Lentech’s newest member of the DOD and Intelligence Program Team. Mr. Jones will help support Lentech’s continued expansion in DoD and Intelligence markets.Reston, Va., January 31, 2018 — Lentech, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Mr. Carl Jones to its DoD and Intelligence Programs team as Senior Director and Strategic Advisor to Air Force Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2). Mr. Jones has over 25 years of military experience in DoD space control, nuclear missile operations, as well as, DoD-wide policy and strategy development. He will be responsible for supporting the Air Force in its efforts to create a lasting MDC2 architecture, other existing Lentech defense programs, and assisting the Vice President of DoD and Intelligence Programs, Mr. Daniel Dant, in expanding Lentech Inc.’s role in Defense and Intelligence markets.

Mr. Jones recently completed a 25-year career in the United States Air Force. In his final assignment Colonel (Ret.) Jones served in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation as the Nuclear Operations analyst where he managed a multibillion-dollar portfolio to sustain, recapitalize, and modernize nuclear deterrent operations weapon systems. Prior to that Mr. Jones was the Nuclear Capabilities Division Chief for the Air Force Staff. He also served in numerous other assignments in the Air Force to include Senior Military Assistant to the Undersecretary of the United States Air Force. He commanded the 4th Space Control Squadron, which deployed in direct support of operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Mr. Jones holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Angelo State University, four master’s degrees, is a graduate of the United States Air Force Weapons School, and the Center for Creative Leadership.
