Eine Million BenQ-Siemens EF81-Mobiltelefone können drucken
Mit der vorinstallierten Softwarelösung Content Beamer können die neuen BenQ-Siemens EF81-Mobiltelefone lokale Inhalte per Bluetooth ausdrucken.
(Berlin, Mai 2006) Das neue UMTS-Mobiltelefon BenQ-Siemens EF81 verfügt in der ersten Charge von einer Million Geräten über einen vorinstallierten Content-Beamer-Client. Damit können Käufer des BenQ-Siemens EF81 einen Monat lang mit dem Mobiltelefon kostenlos lokale Dokumente per Bluetooth ausdrucken. Nach Ablauf des Testzeitraums können Kunden den Druckservice bei ThinPrint, dem Hersteller des Content Beamers, zum Preis von 8 Euro monatlich bzw. 88 Euro jährlich verlängern. Ausgeliefert werden die Geräte vornehmlich in Europa.
"Bisher ist unser Mobile Document Output System (MDOS) vor allem bei BlackBerry-Nutzern bekannt, die ihre per Email empfangenen Dokumente auf Bluetooth-, Netzwerkdruckern bzw. Faxgeräten ausdrucken oder auf einem Notebook-Bildschirm anzeigen wollen", so Carsten Mickeleit, Managing Director der ThinPrint GmbH. "Mit der Vorinstallation auf den BenQ-Siemens-Handys erreichen wir eine für uns bislang noch recht neue Klientel."
