Kanoo Machinery Wins ‘Regional Distributor Of The Year’ Award From Perkins

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August 2, 2009: Kanoo Machinery announced that they have been awarded ‘Regional Distributor of the year 2008’ by Perkins Engines Co. Ltd. UK, having previously won the distinction in 2006 and 2007. Mr. Howard Beeken, Director EAME / CIS Distribution, Perkins presented the Perkins Power Award to Mr. Mishal Kanoo, Deputy Chairman of The Kanoo Group at a glittering ceremony held to celebrate the successful enduring partnership between the two companies at Grosvenor House, Dubai. The event themed ‘Strength in Partnership’ was attended by senior management of the two companies as well as their customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Beeken said, “In Kanoo there is trust, honesty and fairness in the way they do business. In Perkins, we have a commitment to integrity, excellence and teamwork. In his acceptance speech, Mr. Mishal Kanoo highlighted the fact that the partnership between the two companies goes back a long time and is a tribute to the values the two companies hold dear. 2010 will mark the fiftieth year of this cooperation between the two companies.
