HAIR CLUB WELCOMES DR. ANGELA PHIPPS AS NEW COMPANY SPOKESWOMAN AND MEDICAL ADVISOR

Hair Club® is pleased to announce that Dr. Angela Phipps has recently become the Medical Advisor to Hair Club. Hair Club is the largest provider of all-proven hair loss solutions in North America, including the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Currently employing more than 1,100 licensed cosmetologists and trained hair loss experts, Hair Club has grown to nearly 120 centers, including a new state-of-the-art salon in Atlanta, GA, that caters exclusively to women.

Dr. Angela Phipps, D.O., A.B.H.R.S., is a board-certified physician with Hair Club’s affiliate, Bosley Medical Group. She is based in Raleigh, NC, where she specializes in surgical hair restoration. In her new role as Medical Advisor to Hair Club, she will share her expertise to help educate men and women about hair loss and what solutions are available to them. 

Passionate about hair restoration, Dr. Phipps has made it her personal mission to help people who are losing their hair. “My father suffered from hair loss at an early age, which affected his self-confidence,” said Dr. Phipps. After his hair was restored, he no longer felt self-conscious when he looked in the mirror. From that moment on, Dr. Phipps wanted to help others feel confident in their appearance. “I decided to make surgical hair restoration the sole focus of my medical career,” said Dr. Phipps. 

Dr. Phipps received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.N.) degree in Nursing from Marshall University in Huntington, WV, followed by her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. At Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI, she completed her surgical internship and trained in the fields of Otorhinolaryngology (ear, nose and throat or ENT) and facial plastic surgery. She then finished a Family Medicine Residency at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, FL. To further her education and experience, she completed a specialized fellowship in surgical hair restoration at Ziering Medical in Beverly Hills, CA. Dr. Phipps is board certified in medical/surgical hair restoration by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.

Dr. Phipps is a diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), and a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
