Duplication Media Helps Keep Precious Memories Safe

Press release from: Duplication Media

Duplication Media, a video duplication and transfer service company in Urbandale, Iowa, has been preserving customers' precious memories since 2003. Jason Olson, the owner of Duplication Media, takes pride in helping people preserve their most precious memories. Having been in the industry for more than 22 years, he understands how important old audio and video recordings can be to his customers.

Natural disasters have been occurring a lot recently, and many people's homes have been destroyed, along with years and years of precious memories. Their child's first birthday party on videotape, centuries of family history captured in photographs, wedding videos, and more, are all destroyed in the process. Duplication Media helps to preserve these memories before something unexpected happens to them.

Olson has spoken with many customers who have been affected by natural disasters such as the recent hurricanes.

"Customers come to us wishing they would've done something to preserve their memories sooner. Something unexpected happens, like a hurricane or a fire, and sometimes...unfortunately there's nothing to be done at that point," said Olson.

Olson urges his customers to come to him before something happens.

"I urge my customers to bring their old videotapes, photographs, slides, etc. in before it's too late. It's always a good idea to have backups made, too. Getting everything converted into today's formats and backed up such as extra copies, put on a hard drive, or uploaded to the cloud are all great preventative measures to take," said Olson.

Duplication Media has had customers from more than 30 different states over the years, such as New York and California, as well as international customers from Canada and the United Kingdom. While the company's main service is video to DVD transfers, they also specialize in audio to CD transfers, slide transfers, film transfers, and more. Having the ability to work with over 20 formats of videotape sets Duplication Media apart from its competition. From large corporations needing 1000 DVD copies to small families looking to convert old memories into new formats, Olson's years of experience have allowed him and his company to serve the needs of a wide variety of customers.

Don't lose your precious memories. Let Duplication Media preserve them. For more information on Duplication Media, please visit http://www.duplicationmedia.com or follow on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/dupsmedia.
