Demandsoft starts European-wide marketing campaign with Prime One and top new recruit

Wiesbaden – Demandsoft, which is based in Wiesbaden, Germany, is starting out in the second half of 2009 with decisive innovations. With Prime One, the company, which specialises in strategic demand chain solutions, is launching a highly developed software for the supply chain management of large organisations and retail organisations. And on 1st July, with the appointment of Reinhard Witek as the Head of Strategic Business Development, Demandsoft has made a top class addition to its team. In doing so, Demandsoft is going on the offensive before the eyes of the public.

Prime One from Demandsoft optimises companies’ merchandise planning systems and clearly reduces capital lockup costs. The software is also able to facilitate opportunity investments, while securing an excellent quality of service at the same time. Today, Prime One is viewed in professional circles as being the ultimate solution for the exploitation of hidden capital lockup reserves. Demandsoft is marketing Prime One in difficult economic times because the savings which are achieved through the software are sustainable over the long term, and new applications such as a correlating forecasting system are being launched onto the market at the same time. Prime One is superior to competing products in its category, and successful installations at customers in Italy and France are demonstrating considerable successes. Demandsoft’s project partners include highly acclaimed companies like Edeka, the Universal Music Group, Rossman, Marktkauf and Netto.

Demandsoft now wants to recruit new sales specialists in its key market area of Germany. The company is also set to develop its personnel network with new project managers, consultants and administrators. Demandsoft is therefore creating new jobs and investing in the future. The development of business relationships with established partners with agency or distribution status in Austria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe who will market and manage Prime One is also a company priority. The USA is also a very interesting market for Demandsoft. An industry executive has recently expressed serious interest in assuming the general representation of Demansoft for the North American region.

Demandsoft has also succeeded in making a top new recruit with Reinhard Witek. Witek, who worked for the previous four years as Head of International Key Accounts at the Munich-based mystery shopping company International Service Check/Multisearch, joined the Demandsoft team at the beginning of July. The new Head of Strategic Business Development is very ambitious for Demandsoft and views his new position as being a challenge which promises much success: “The Demandsoft customers who are already working with Prime One are very satisfied with it. The company Demandsoft GmbH was established by Managing Director Karl Simacek in 2004. Simacek has been working with leading software companies in the area of retail replenishment solutions for more than 20 years. In 1992 he co-founded and became Managing Director of the German office of E3 Associates for the German speaking areas of Europe, before then moving to the E3 head offices in Atlanta (USA) in 1999. In Atlanta he became responsible for the development of new, innovative components for the E3 replenishment suite as Vice President of Research & Development. After the takeover of E3 by JDA Software Inc. in 2001, he initially continued working as Director NPD (New Product Development) before then being appointed to further develop the presence of JDA in central Europe as the General Representative in 2003.

Demandsoft focuses on standardised internationally successful inventory management and replenishment solutions for the areas of wholesale and retail, and its use in VMI projects (Vendor Managed Inventory). The goal is the optimisation of purchasing processes.
