INVACIO PRESENT TO UNITED NATIONS ESCAP DELEGATION

On 2nd November 2017, tech startup Invacio were invited to present their blockchain driven AI software to delegates at the United Nations ESCAP committee after word of their groundbreaking advances in the field of artificial intelligence reached UN officials. Interest had been piqued regarding the potential applications of Invacio’s AI engine, affectionately known as Jean, in the field of disaster management.

Invacio delegate Michael J Aumock offered a fascinating presentation on Jean’s capabilities which included the ability to create a detailed risk assessment and reactive disaster management plan within just a handful of seconds of the first reports of a potential disaster’s occurrence. Aumock said;

The future arrives today. Invacio brings together the world’s largest repository of organised data...There are around 200 billion tweets every year. And she reads all of them. There are 300 million hours of video added to YouTube every day. And she watches all of it. A little example of what Jean can do. Is everybody familiar with the wildfires in California last month...Jean was aware of the fire one second after the first tweet. She analyzes all the recorded data on weather, wind, moisture content in the soil for that day and compares it to this year’s data, last year’s data, all recorded data. Then analyzing satellite photos to understand (the) potential impact. Then she analyzes probable outcomes. Potential acreage destroyed, based on all recorded history on wildfires in that region and all regions. Then she looks at wildfires in mountainous regions, globally, wine producing regions...All that stuff, she knows in the second second after the first tweet. She knew all of those answers. Countries can use that knowledge for their own benefit to be ahead of disasters.

Invacio’s presentation attracted interest from several governments who were eager to learn more about Jean’s astonishing capabilities and applications.
