Tropical Smoothie Café is sending a Dreamer to the TaxSlayer Bowl

Jacksonville, Fla., Dec. 13, 2017 – Tropical Smoothie Café is sending one local dreamer to the TaxSlayer Bowl on Dec. 30. Tropical Smoothie Café held fundraisers at three of their Jacksonville restaurants to raise money for Dreams Come True to send one of the 12 members of the Dreams Come True Dream Team to the game.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe presented a check to the Executive Director of Dreams Come True of Jacksonville at a recent event at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville. The cafes on Southside Blvd., Phillips Highway and their newest location in Bartram Park donated 15 percent of their sales from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 5 to help raise the money to send a local dreamer to the game.

Tropical Smoothie Café is a proud sponsor of the TaxSlayer Bowl and the Dreams Come True Dream Team, which is made up of 12 local children ranging in age from 7 to 16. The dreamers will be treated to a meet and greet with participating team players and cheerleaders and will be honored on Dec. 30 at the 73rd annual TaxSlayer Bowl.

Dreams Come True works to provide unforgettable memories for children from northeast Florida and southeast Georgia, ages 2 to 18, who have life-threatening illnesses. The organization has granted more than 3,700 Dreams over the years.
